Platform’s Overview

The 21st Century Unified Muslim Society in North America needs learning, understanding, and adhering to the “pure” and “true” Islam in an educated, respectful, transparent, and practical manner in order to meet the very fast-paced social and economic life in the 21st century.

We are reviving the “pure” and “true” Islam by establishing social and economic platforms for the Families, Young Muslims, Sisters, Professionals, and Businesses on secure cloud infrastructure. These solutions-driven platforms are intended to serve the Muslim Society over the course of the next 10+ years with 2, 5, and 10 years goals. Each solutions-driven platform will undergo 3 phases over a period of 10 years. In aggregate, all platforms will be released in rolling-basis by batches:

  • in phase I (Introduction & Awareness) over the next 1 – 2 years;
  • in phase II (Adaptation in Pilot environment) over the next 2 – 5 years; and
  • in phase III (Operations Readiness and Risk Management) over the next 5 – 10 years.

The “Advocacy & Volunteering Platform” is an important building block of the solutions-driven platforms. The 21st Century Unified Muslim Society is built upon a Governance Framework (e.g., policies, standards, processes, procedures, guidelines, performance metrics, and risk management) to maximize ethical conduct, accountability, transparency, auditability, efficiency, and quality.

As part of the Governance Framework, the “Advocacy Team” is composed of:

  • Sponsors
  • Leadership
  • Operations
  • Families & Professionals

Vision

Platform’s Vision: al-Ansar (الأنصار)

At the time when Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) and his followers (the Muhajirun) emigrated from Mecca (Hijra) to Medina, the local inhabitants of Medina, took the prophet and his followers to their homes and also helped them in their battles. These local inhabitants were named al-Ansar (الأنصار) meaning “The Helpers”. Like al-Ansar:

  1. The Advocacy Families & Professionals Team will be the mentor for Young Muslims (under the “Sadiqi” platform) helping them to develop their communication & social skills by co-participating in the “Able Community Volunteering” program together.
  2. The Advocacy Team will be helping all Muslims by building social and economic platforms with sustainable solutions-driven programs for the Muslim Society.

Platform’s Vision: Reviving Islam for the 21st Century Unified Muslim Society

When the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) inhabited and rebuilt Medina, he did not only teach the Quran, he was a living model, he was a “walking & breathing” Quran. He rebuilt social and economic system in Medina with justice & balance and sincerity & growth; and this is Islam!

At “Able Community” and the “International Chamber of Economy”, we are reviving the “pure” and “true” Islam in the 21st Century Unified Muslim Society by establishing social and economic platforms for the Families, Young Muslims, Sisters, Professionals, and Businesses on secure cloud infrastructure. Governance Framework is the operation of the 21st Century Unified Muslim Society in accordance with the Holy Quran and Sunnah by ensuring justice & balance and sincerity & growth are re-established, just like the vision of Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) in Medina. The Governance Framework ensures the solutions-driven platforms will be:

  • processes-driven built on policies, standards, processes, procedures, and guidelines to maximize ethical conduct, accountability, transparency, auditability and efficiency.
  • performance-based to empower sincerity, quality, and growth by establishing accountability, maturity, and teamwork.
  • assessed by risk management of Compliance, Audits, Partners, Vendors and Users to enable ethical conduct, accountability, transparency, and auditability.
  • led by visionary & ethical leaders who must be professionals qualified in education, experience, excellence, accountability, inclusion, collaboration, and ethical conduct.

There will be at least 18 solutions-driven platforms concurrently being designed, with priority given to the first 6 solutions-driven platforms to be rolled out in batch I, followed by other platforms in subsequent batches. These solutions-driven platforms are intended to serve the Muslim Society over the course of the next 10+ years with 2, 5, and 10 years goals. Each solutions-driven platform will undergo 3 phases over a period of 10 years. In aggregate, all 18 solutions-driven platforms will be released in rolling-basis by batches:

  • in phase I (Introduction & Awareness) over the next 1 – 2 years;
  • in phase II (Adaptation in Pilot environment) over the next 2 – 5 years; and
  • in phase III (Operations Readiness and Risk Management) over the next 5 – 10 years.

Sustainable solutions take time and the right leadership and culture to cultivate. Lectures and Events have become entertainment over the years in the Muslim Society in North America. Our vision is to break the cycle of “applying bandages” and instead “rebuilding competencies as individuals and in communities” by enabling social and economic successes based on justice & balance and sincerity & growth.
